JWildfire & Photoshop...
I dunno... it just seemed like the thing to do...

somewhat in the vein of scenes near the end of
Square Pictures' "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within",
albeit much more crudely executed than their work...

~for those who want the really deep dirt, the mountainous rim and the pre-dawn sky
are a re-use of one of the original component photos used in this composition: [link]
